Charged by the United Nations Environmental Programme with briefing delegates to the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development’s (UNCED) preparatory meetings at the United Nations on sustainable development principles and priority actions, Walter Coddington scripted and produced the 5,000-square-foot multimedia exhibition, "Caring for Earth". The exhibition was sponsored by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the United Nations Environment Program and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
